Zopa split A market into two
Just as Zopa passed the £400million milestone, they have also announced they are splitting the "A" market into "A1" and "A2".
Here is the statement from Zopa:
Just a quick update here to let you all know we have adjusted our markets slightly for borrowers with very good credit ratings. We have split our markets to create A1 and A2.
By doing this we can offer borrowers the most accurate, competitive rates for their loans and work towards delivering even better rates for our savers.
For our savers, this means there are more tracker rates than before. To keep things simple we have changed the tracker rate groups you see on the lending offer page to summarise rates into A*, A, B, C1 and S.
If you would like to see more details on the tracker rates - looking at different loan size groups or the difference between A1 and A2 – you can access this on the rates page, available when you sign in to your Zopa account.
